Active RFID Antennas

Active RFID antennas can be used in 24/7 monitoring of tag signals such as beacon, duress alarm, tamper alarm, motion/vibration alarm and tag temperature over large areas.

Whip antennas provides 360° monitoring with normal range up to approximately 200’ and is a unity gain ground independent vertically polarized antenna. The antenna is suitable for concealed mounting within partition dry wall construction and is suitable for outdoor wall or pole mounting, and attaching to vehicles.

Patch antennas are typically used for their unique directional properties which are ideal for access control, vehicle yard management, parking control systems, container monitoring, and most tracking and positioning solutions.
The Patch antenna is essentially a flat panel and can be mounted on any flat surface including metal, indoors or outdoors, horizontally or vertically. The antenna is suitable for concealed mounting within partition dry wall construction, above acoustic ceiling tiles, behind wood panelling, glass, or any other non-RF shielding materials.

Snub antennas are utilized for close proximity active RFID tag detections, adjustable from approximately 1” to 6’. Snub antennas are well suited for use at personnel mustering zones.

Yagi antennas provide long-range and ultra-long range active RFID tag detection at configurable distances to 5,000+’.

Rod antennas provide long-range and ultra-long range active RFID tag detection at configurable distances to 5,000+’.

Active RFID antennas must be installed at locations in proximity to readers, and can be mounted on any surface, including structures and poles.
