Muster Report

First Responders and organizational personnel responsible for worker safety must have immediate access to Muster Data to determine personnel and/or visitors that are presumed to need assistance and that must be accounted-for.

RFID zones and passage-ways produce muster data, which may be as granular or as high-level as desired. For example, if RFID is only installed at ‘main gate’, the muster data would display either ‘onsite’ or ‘offsite’ only. If there are RFID zones on-grounds, at facility doorways and/or within facilities, then muster data will be more granular and comprehensive, such as ‘Main Exit Out’, ‘Parking Zone B’ or ‘Lobby’.

Employee and visitor location data updates real-time as people are detected by RFID antennas. RFID networks can be established for stand-alone operation in case a facility’s network goes-down, such as wireless mesh networks with radio communications, battery backup, embedded tablet PC’s and solar power.

Muster Data reports typically include at minimum data corresponding to ‘Status/Location’, ‘Name’, ‘Last Seen At’ and ‘Date/Time’. Muster Data can include additional data points as may be desired, such as ‘assigned work location’.

If muster reports show personnel or visitors that are in-facility or on-grounds and protocol is to physically search for such people, the muster data can include both ‘location at which last seen’ and ‘primary work space/office #’. SmartTraxx PA also supports long-range RFID scanners with detection ranges configurable from a few feet to 1,000’s of feet, and enables continual modulation to guide the User right to the person for which accountability is required.
