For organizations with security requirements such that weapons are maintained onsite for emergency deployment, SmartTraxx PA supports sophisticated weapon/gear/ammo registration, tracking and security capabilities. Small RFID tags are placed in weapon grips and associated with weapon serial #’s.

• RFID at doorways prevents unauthorized weapon removal by triggering alarms, lights and alerts.

• RFID at doorways also enables identification of staff via RFID ID cards or key fobs, with automatic updates to SmartTraxx PA software with data corresponding to the person(s) and weapon(s) removed from armory/storage.
