RFID Detection Zones Overview
For organizations that require the most extensive and precise tracking of personnel and visitors, RFID antennas can be installed anywhere within a facility where data relative to personnel/visitor movements is desired, to most closely pinpoint the locations of personnel/visitors as to muster data.
RFID facility detection zones can pinpoint specific walk-thru areas, such as along a hallway or within a cluster of workstations and/or can be zones up to hundreds of feet or meters.
RFID facility zones can be implemented along hallways or passageways, in open areas, in work areas and in offices. Each time a staff person or visitor is detected by RFID antennas, the location of the person detected is updated in the RFID database.
