RFID readers can be placed in moving equipment and vehicles to detect personnel that are in proximity to the moving equipment. A ‘safety zone’ distance can be defined and if a person is within the safety zone, alarm and lights will trigger on the moving equipment/vehicle alerting the operator as to an impending injury or death event.
RFID technology can be utilized to track personnel/visitors anywhere on property or within facilities a person may travel. RFID ‘motion tags’ track the movement of personnel. If a person stops moving for a defined ‘n’ amount of time, alerts are automatically triggered to the command post.
RFID enables command post personnel to identify the locations of all staff and to monitor and avert risk events.
